Revealed to be Divinity, the game was showcased with a bold trailer packed with intense imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to an orgy and the very opening of infernal gates.
Not the Expected Sequel
Anyone anticipating Divinity Original Sin 3, that is not happening. Larian warned that a direct sequel to its venerated RPGs is not currently in development.
That said, the developer described this new Divinity as a continuation of the core franchise. This distinction suggests that the team might be crafting a more action-oriented experience as opposed to another turn-based title. Currently, this is speculation, as only a teaser video is available.
